Shower Doors

Measurements should only be taken after all tile work is complete. Every millimeter matters in glass installation - if we measure before tiling, the finished piece may not fit properly due to variations in tile and adhesive thickness. Depending on the door structure, toilet and sink installation may also need to be completed first.

We exclusively use tempered glass (8-10mm thick) for all shower installations. Tempered glass is 5-7 times stronger than regular glass and undergoes special heat treatment. In the rare event of breakage, it crumbles into small, relatively harmless pieces with blunt edges rather than dangerous shards - making it safe even for families with children.

Either option works perfectly. We install special plastic seals around the door perimeter that prevent water leakage regardless of whether you have a raised pan or a zero-threshold floor.

No, our installations include high-quality silicone seals that prevent water leakage. Note that for the first few months, the new plastic seals may feel slightly stiff and the door may require more effort to open. After 1-2 months of use, the seals become more flexible. Depending on usage frequency, seal replacement is typically needed every 2-3 years.

Drywall alone is not recommended for heavy glass installations. We suggest either installing tile over the drywall or adding a wooden or metal support beam behind the mounting area to ensure long-term stability.

We primarily install tempered glass for shower applications. Both are safety glass options - tempered breaks into small pieces, while laminated holds together when broken. For most residential shower applications, tempered glass provides excellent safety and performance.

Regular cleaning prevents buildup. For limescale removal, we recommend specialized lime scale removers available at hardware stores. For everyday streaks and water spots, standard glass cleaner works excellently - it's available at any Home Depot.

Mirrors

It depends on your wall condition and needs. Smaller mirrors can be securely mounted with specialized mirror silicone - this creates a seamless look with the mirror sitting flush against the wall. Larger mirrors require G-channel or L-channel mounting systems for safety. Mechanical holders are better if you have uneven walls or plan to remove the mirror later.

Absolutely! We can create any cutout or custom shape you need. Just provide us with the measurements and positions, and we'll fabricate the mirror to your exact specifications.

Antique mirrors feature a decorative aged effect created through chemical processes, protected under the glass surface. They add vintage character and warmth to spaces. The finish is permanent and protected, requiring no special maintenance beyond avoiding ammonia-based cleaners.

Quality mirrors resist humidity well. The key is avoiding ammonia-containing cleaning products, which can damage the reflective coating over time. Use ammonia-free glass cleaners for best results.

We can install mirrors of virtually any size based on your needs. Very large installations may require special handling and mounting systems - contact us to discuss your specific project.

We offer polished and beveled edges on individual mirrors. However, we don't currently create decorative beveled mirror panel arrangements (mirror panno with facets).

Storefronts

For security applications, we recommend double-laminated safety glass or wire glass. These options resist breakage and hold together when damaged, preventing easy entry.

Yes, we offer emergency glass replacement services. Contact us as soon as possible and we'll work to secure your property quickly.

Yes, we can install automatic sliding door systems for commercial applications.

We offer limited warranties on hardware for commercial applications. Specific terms are determined based on the expected traffic and usage conditions - contact us to discuss your needs.

Skylights

Absolutely. Our skylights feature multi-level seal systems and professional-grade sealants that maintain flexibility in temperatures from -40°C to +50°C. In some cases, we install dual-pane systems to also prevent condensation.

No. We can install glass with specialized coatings that reduce heat transfer while maintaining light transmission, keeping your space comfortable year-round.

Cleaning methods depend on your specific installation - accessibility, height, and roof design all factor in. We can discuss maintenance solutions during consultation.

Our skylight glass is engineered for significant loads including snow accumulation. However, for safety reasons, we never recommend walking on glass surfaces. If roof access is needed, we can design safe walkways around the glass areas.

Glass Shelves

Load capacity depends on glass thickness, shelf length, and mounting method. An 8mm tempered glass shelf up to 80cm long can easily hold 15-20kg with proper weight distribution. For heavier loads in retail settings, we calculate optimal bracket spacing to prevent any deflection.

Tempering is recommended for shelves 1/4" and thicker, especially those holding heavy items or in high-traffic areas. It's optional for decorative light-duty applications.

Glass provides good grip even when wet. Bottles and containers rarely slide in normal use.

We use U-channel brackets along the sides or specialized corner clips. Both methods provide secure support without damaging your tile work.

Absolutely! We can create shelves in any shape to match your brand design and display needs.

We don't currently offer integrated LED lighting in shelves.

Not with proper thickness. We recommend appropriate glass thickness based on shelf length and expected load to ensure no deflection over time.

All our shelves feature polished edges (euro-edge) - the edge is completely smooth, transparent, and slightly beveled. This process not only makes the shelf safe to handle but also relieves internal glass stress, reducing the risk of unexpected breakage.

Recommended Cleaning Products

For removing limescale buildup, we recommend specialized lime scale removers available at hardware stores. For everyday cleaning and streaks, standard glass cleaner (available at Home Depot) works excellently.

Important: Avoid ammonia-based cleaners on mirrors and antique glass to preserve the reflective coating.
